A Living Word.

You have been found to be a living Word.  A Word that is from forever before us, and extends to the everlasting.  In the middle, is a dynamic and living presence that commands and creates life.

Not just life from its roots in a Garden, but within every day, manifesting the same dust-into-human re-creation of life.  Breath were there was none.  Action from stillness and power out of the void.  All by Your spoken word.  Then, and today.

In Your image, we live.  First, by Your saving and healing hand.  Restored and renewed, from lifeless to living.  Breath in the soul and light in the eyes.  Strength and gladness marking our way.

But Your image in us does not end with our re-creation.  From here You cultivate Your ‘command’ within us.  A voice that declares a living word that manifests Your presence and purposes to call forth life.  From the commission to be ‘fishers of men’ to the full and divine display of the gifts of the Spirit.  From ‘asking what we will’ to commanding the removal of a mountain.

The spoken word is full of power and reflects the deposit of Your image within us.  It is living, that calls forth living.  Powered by the First among the living and brought to completion by the One who closes the books in the end.

Your image in us is revealed when the fruit of living, is more life.  Breath where there was none.  Action from stillness and power out of the void.

You are a living Word.  It lives in us and calls forth the power of life. And coming out of us, it becomes the power of the spoken word that commands and calls forth life.  New, re-created, radiant life.
