Good Morning, Morning

Good Morning, Morning,

Day, within you, I will not be overcome.  Though oppression arises and presses, a refuge is in your midst for me.  A tower of strength secures my heart and my hope.  Songs of deliverance are heard in you and scatter the sounds of fear.  The Lord of Hosts is present in you for all who call on His name.  Hope is found again in you.

“The Lord also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble.  And those who know Your name will put their trust in You; for You, Lord, have not forsaken those who seek You.”*

“You are my hiding place; You shall preserve me from trouble; You shall surround me with songs of deliverance.”*

“The Lord of Hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge.”*

Note:  Good Morning, Morning is a greeting and declaration to the day.  It is a combination of Jesus’ instruction* and examples of speaking to those things normally considered without life (trees*, mountains*, wind & waves*), and, declaring realities from His word about how He has moved historically or the way He declares He’ll work still ahead.  For forty days, the morning will be greeted with the anticipation of experiencing His power and authority* in exponentially fresh ways.

  1. Shalom and yes, “good morning, morning!” Tired after a mini-vacation (retreat), but now time to go back to “work!” While we would prefer to sleep-in and rest today, the day calls…and we have promises of You, our Abba, being our Refuge and Hiding Place and surrounding us “with songs of deliverance!” AH! Yes, Havah Nagila, stirs my soul to dance and rejoice in LIFE! Thank you, for gentle reminders, blessings, miryam 🙂
