Good Morning, Morning,
Day, you are a delight.* Holy and honorable.* In you is declared the rest from our labors* and the celebration of freedom from our enemies*! You are assigned to mark the removal of our burdens* and a period of refreshment*. In your moments today honor and praise reveal our God, the Lord of the Sabbath*. Within you rest and honor abound.
“Then you shall delight yourself in the Lord; and I will cause you to ride on the high hills of the earth, and feed you with the heritage of Jacob your father. The mouth of the Lord has spoken.”*
Note: Good Morning, Morning is a greeting and declaration to the day. It is a combination of Jesus’ instruction* and examples of speaking to those things normally considered without life (trees*, mountains*, wind & waves*), and, declaring realities from His word about how He has moved historically or the way He declares He’ll work still ahead. For forty days, the morning will be greeted with the anticipation of experiencing His power and authority* in exponentially fresh ways.
