Good Morning, Morning

Good Morning, Morning,

Day, you are filled with wonder*.  You are encompassed by your designers hands and make a way for His fullness in it.*  His faithfulness arises in you and is a shield for His people.*  He hedges us in* and secures a foundation for our feet.*  His presence fills you, and surrounds His people, as a harbor of refuge.*  Securely we rest in Him.*  Trust and truth go out in you to surround His people with mercy* and strength*.

“As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the Lord surrounds His people, both now and forever more.”*.

“Surround me with Your tender mercies so I might live.”*.

Note:  Good Morning, Morning is a greeting and declaration to the day.  It is a combination of Jesus’ instruction* and examples of speaking to those things normally considered without life (trees*, mountains*, wind & waves*), and, declaring realities from His word about how He has moved historically or the way He declares He’ll work still ahead.  For forty days, the morning will be greeted with the anticipation of experiencing His power and authority* in exponentially fresh ways.

  1. Good morning! I am enjoying your posts. Thank you for writing! Is there a way to see the scripture references?
    Shalom, Kathryn G.

    • Good Morning, Kathryn. Each asterisk should be linked to another page that provides that verse in a variety of translations. If clicking on the asterisk does not open up another page for you, please let me know. Blessings!

  2. “As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the Lord surrounds His people, both now and forever more.” amen and amen, thanks for this comforting reminder 🙂 Miryam
